UK Data Loader 6.0 released

UK Data Loader 6.0 has been released and includes some exciting enhancements, as follows:

• OS MasterMap Topography layer

  • We have added the option to create a line feature class for annotation called AnnoLine – this is mainly to support customers with the Idox Uniform system.

  • Some small changes to attributes on feature classes to ensure the datatypes are consistent, this will improve usability of the data in some third party applications.

  • The changes above mean that for your first data load using v6.0 you will need to perform a new Initial Load of the data.

• Support for PostgreSQL databases for all datasets

  • The details of supported versions of PostgreSQL are in the user guide, but note that you must have a minimum of ArcGIS Pro 2.8.

• Locator building

  • We have improved locator building which significantly enhances the matching of address searches and reduces false positives.

  • The locators rely on modifications that have been released in ArcGIS Pro 2.9, therefore you must be using 2.9.0 or above to build locators. We have built a version check into the tool to let you know to upgrade if you are using earlier versions.
