Retaining your metadata now that ProductivitySuite has retired
/As you are hopefully aware ProductivitySuite retired at the end of 2019.
One of the tools used from ProductivitySuite was to capture Metadata in the Gemini Metadata Editor.
The Metadata captured in this tool was stored within the feature classes but separate from the standard ArcGIS metadata you would view through the out-of-the-box editor and viewer.
To enable you to keep your metadata and not have to re-key it into the standard editor, we have created a tool which will migrate this metadata for you. The tool is distributed as a toolbox for use in ArcCatalog and can be downloaded from ArcGIS Online.
To run the tool, point it at the dataset or collection of datasets you wish to migrate the metadata for, and then click OK.
The tool will extract the metadata to a temporary file and then re-import it into the feature class as standard metadata. We then recommend you view it using the INSPIRE metadata standard.
