Retirement of ProductivitySuite

Announcement of the Retirement Plans for ProductivitySuite

Esri UK would like to give our customers advanced notice of the planned retirement of ProductivitySuite on 31st December 2019.

The features and functions provided by ProductivitySuite are either now part of the core Esri platform or will be supported by other solutions provided by Esri UK as described below.

Loading OS Data

Esri UK are committed to making sure our users can utilise Ordnance Survey Data in the ArcGIS Platform and have released the UK Data Loader to support our users in this activity.

Following a successful release of the tools in April, which supported loading the OS Highways data, we will shortly be releasing a new version which will also allow you to process OS MasterMap Topography data. We will then follow this release with a version that supports other OS datasets such as VectorMap Local and Addressbase.

Gemini Metadata

ProductivitySuite provides tools which support Gemini 2.2 metadata.

The AGI Standards Committee has recently published version 2.3 of UK GEMINI. You can find full details on their website. All publishers will be required to update their metadata by December 2019.

ProductivitySuite will not be updated to support the new standard.

Over the coming months we will be sharing with you how we plan to support this new standard within other parts the ArcGIS platform. This will include how to create, edit and publish the metadata and how we will help you export and upgrade your existing Gemini 2.2 metadata.
