Connectivity to http://datahub.esriuk.com was interrupted at 11:19 am (22nd November 2012), this was RESOLVED at 11:31 am. There was 12 minutes of unavailability.
At 11:19 am the Online Operations Team received alerts that http://datahub.esriuk.com was inaccessible and this had a series of knock-on effects with some dependent services and products. Diagnostic work by the Ops team quickly identified that the servers and resources were fine and available; the issue being that the name that points to them was somehow ‘misbehaving’.
At 11:31 am full connectivity was restored to http://datahub.esriuk.com It is likely that due to cached connections users may have continued to experience issues for another 10-15 minutes.
A call has been placed with our Internet Service Provider for additional information.
If anyone had been experiencing problems – we recommend that you should close down your browser(s); clear any browser cache, restart your browser and reconnect. Similarly, if you are connecting via an application (LocalView Fusion or ArcGIS for Desktop via the Services add-in toolbar) then close the application down and relaunch it.
The team will continue to monitor the situation and updates will be made when appropriate.
