ArcGIS Pro 3.2 requires ArcGIS Coordinate Systems Data install for OSTN15 transformations

With the release of ArcGIS Pro 3.2, it is necessary for any customers using OSTN15 transformations (geographic transformations WGS_1984_to_OSGB_1936_OSTN15 and ETRS_1989_To_OSGB_1936_OSTN15) to download and install the supplementary ArcGIS Coordinate Systems Data from My Esri. The underlying files required for these transformations were unintentionally added to the standard build of ArcGIS Pro for versions 2.9 through to 3.1.

If you have data requiring OSTN15 transformation in your projects and you upgrade from ArcGIS Pro 2.9-3.1 to ArcGIS Pro 3.2, you may see the following warning message:

Transformation Warning

Cannot load the data file Dataset_uk/OSTN15_NTv2 for the geographic transformation WGS_1984_to_OSGB_1936_OSTN15. Download and install ArcGIS Coordinate System Data at my.esri.com to obtain this transformation file.

To install the ArcGIS Coordinate Systems Data see the following:

Install supplementary coordinate system files—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

There are two versions of the installer, one for 'per user' installations and the other for 'per machine' installations. The one you choose should depend on how ArcGIS Pro was installed on your machine, but if in doubt choose the installer called ArcGIS Coordinate Systems Data ('per machine' installations).

Note that you may not have permissions to access the install media for ArcGIS Coordinate Systems Data in My Esri, in which case you will need to contact your My Esri administrator.
